At The All Purpose Center, our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to discover and align with their true purpose in life. We are committed to assisting them in unlocking their potential and developing a personalized roadmap to success.

By offering comprehensive programs, resources, and support, we aim to guide individuals through their personal and professional journeys. We believe that everyone possesses unique talents and passions. By uncovering their purpose, they can experience greater fulfillment and make a positive impact on the world.

Our organization strives to foster a supportive and inclusive community, where individuals can explore, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals on similar paths. Through mentoring, workshops, and educational initiatives, we provide the necessary tools and inspiration to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with self-discovery and personal development.

Ultimately, we envision a society where individuals lead purpose-driven lives, inspiring others to do the same. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels empowered, fulfilled, and capable of achieving their highest potential.

OUR BOARD MEMBERS

CHAIR: Maria MOCK

Maria Mock is a seasoned business consultant, mentor, and motivational speaker with 17 years of experience working with youth. She founded At The All Purpose Center to help individuals unlock their potential and develop personalized success roadmaps.

Starting in housekeeping at a nursing home, Maria advanced through the health care industry, earning a B.S. in Business Management and Accounting. She founded Hands from Heaven, LLC, an adult day care and home health care service, which she led for nearly a decade.

Despite personal challenges, including the tragic loss of her eldest child, Maria continued to build her business until 2022. Now, she shares her experiences as a motivational speaker, inspiring individuals of all ages.

Her e-book/memoir, The Purpose Behind It All, details her journey and lessons learned. At The All Purpose Center, Maria fosters a supportive community for personal growth, guided by P.U.R.P.O.S.E core values.

Maria’s mission is to share her insights to make the world better, give hope to the youth, and guide those who are lost. Through her book, speaking engagements, and other opportunities, she is determined to fulfill her promise to God and to Herself.

VICE CHAIR: SHALAUNDA REESE

Shalaunda Reese is a dynamic entrepreneur and compassionate leader with a proven track record of success across multiple industries. Her diverse business portfolio includes a homecare agency, a bail bond agency, and a point-of-care diagnostic lab, reflecting her versatility and business acumen. Beyond entrepreneurship, Shalaunda has served as a devoted foster parent for Summit County Children’s Services Board, demonstrating her lifelong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.

With over 19 years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities—13 of which were spent managing her own homecare agency—Shalaunda brings deep expertise in operations, compliance, and organizational growth. As Vice Chair of The All Purpose Center, she combines her strong leadership, financial insight, and dedication to community service to advance the organization’s mission of empowering individuals to discover and live in alignment with their true purpose.

SECRETARY: JESSICA M. COLEMAN

Jessica M. Coleman, a Marion, Ohio native and “Youth Whisperer,” has over 10 years of experience empowering students through social-emotional learning and mentorship. As a Prevention Specialist with Southeast Healthcare, she supports more than 200 youth with innovative programming and group facilitation. A graduate of Marion Technical College and current Political Science student at The Ohio State University, Jessica has been honored with multiple state and community awards for her leadership and service.

TREASURE: LYNEQUE MILLS

Lyneque Mills is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and advocate with a heart for service. She is the Founder & CEO of JBU Services & More, providing financial tools and tax solutions, and Founder of Driven With Purpose Foundation, empowering women, youth, and families. With over a decade of business leadership and community impact, Lyneque brings financial stewardship and strategic planning expertise to The All Purpose Center, while living her mission: “Just Blessing U.”

RESOURCE CHAIR: Tecca L. Thompson

Tecca L. Thompson has over 33 years of experience in public service, including significant roles as a Grant Manager and Youth Program Director. She is the founder of Sacred Healing Spaces LLC, where she leads initiatives centered around somatic practices, breathwork, and collective care. 

Tecca’s work is rooted in trauma-informed principles, with a focus on supporting women and girls, particularly in underserved communities. Her deep commitment to healing justice guides her service and contributions to the community

YOUTH COMMITTEE CHAIR: Ramaya Mock

Ramaya Mock is a 20-year-old graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School in Columbus, Ohio, she is currently in her third year at The Ohio State University, majoring in Psychology. Ramaya is deeply passionate about working with youth and has gained hands-on experience as an assistant teacher in the daycare field.

In addition to her academic pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her 20 nieces and nephews and has dedicated the past two years to volunteering and mentoring with several youth organizations.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CHAIR: SHEILA “SHAHIDAH” ALEXANDER

Sheila “Shahidah” Alexander is a multimedia professional, radio host, and community advocate with over 20 years of combined experience in media, legal advocacy, and business. As CEO of Accentuate Lyfe, Smartbooks Accounting, and founder of Dutch Fest, she uplifts underserved voices through culture, creativity, and conversation. Known as “The Radio Goddess,” she uses her platforms to spark dialogue, celebrate independent artists, and drive social change.

With roots in Italy, Cape Verde, and the U.S., Shahidah brings a multicultural lens to all she does—building bridges through media, education, business, and the arts.  Worker | Massage Therapist | Events & Outreach Chair, The All Purpose Center | Servant Leader, One Kids

COMMUNITY NOURISHMENT CHAIR ERICA PACE

Erica Pace is the owner and Event Manager of Smiles Cuisine LLC, where she has led menu development, staff supervision, and client-centered service since 2018. With over 20 years of combined experience in culinary arts, banking, customer service, and management, she brings strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to her role. A Columbus State Culinary Arts graduate and ServeSafe Manager (2024), Erica is passionate about nourishing communities through excellence, creativity, and care.

YOUTH COMMITTEE CHAIR

Jayvaun Lane serves as a Youth Leader with The All Purpose Center, bringing discipline, resilience, and purpose into every space he enters. As a dedicated foreman and former college athlete at Otterbein University, Jayvaun developed a strong work ethic, leadership mindset, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field—qualities that continue to guide his work today.

Over the past several years, working with youth has become more than just a role — it is a true passion. Jayvaun takes pride in mentoring, guiding, and inspiring the next generation to believe in themselves, build confidence, and strive for greatness. He is grateful to be part of The All Purpose Center family, where he has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help change lives every single day.

Outside of his professional and community work, Jayvaun is a devoted son, brother, and uncle who values faith, family, and spending quality time with the people who matter most.
