The Purposeful Pathways Youth Development Program is a transformational 12-week experience designed to equip youth ages 13–17 with the tools, confidence, and guidance to step boldly into their purpose. Rooted in evidence-based learning, this program focuses on three core areas of growth: self-discovery, smart decision-making, and preparation for adulthood.
Through hands-on activities, group mentoring, and creative learning experiences, participants explore their identity, build leadership and communication skills, learn about healthy relationships, and gain essential knowledge that supports their future success—academically, socially, and personally.

Our trained facilitators lead dynamic sessions grounded in state-approved curriculum standards, while our partners provide support in areas such as program coordination, data tracking, and outcome measurement to ensure a high-quality experience for every participant.

2. Empower Youth: Ignite the Future Summit
The Empower Youth: Ignite the Future Summit is The All Purpose Center’s signature annual youth event—designed to educate, inspire, and activate the next generation of leaders. Hosted in partnership with schools, recreation centers, and local organizations, this powerful one-day summit brings together more than 150 youth from across Franklin County for a high-energy experience filled with interactive workshops, motivational speakers, and purpose-driven conversations.
At the Summit, teens engage in sessions focused on leadership, social-emotional development, healthy relationships, and preparing for future career and educational pathways. Young people discover their strengths, build confidence, and leave with real tools to support positive decision-making and goal setting.

3: Young Adult Mentorship Program
The Young Adult Mentorship Program empowers young adults ages 19–24 to gain confidence, clarity, and career readiness through a customized 9–12-month mentorship experience. This program is designed to help emerging adults successfully transition into the workforce by providing structured guidance, skill-building opportunities, and ongoing support tailored to their personal goals.
Participants work one-on-one with trained mentors who guide them through workforce exploration, job-readiness training, and soft-skill development—ensuring they are well-prepared to secure and maintain meaningful employment. With a focus on individualized development plans, the program meets every participant where they are and helps them build the skills and professional habits needed to thrive in adulthood.

4: Healing Circles & Mentorship Programs
The Healing Circles & Mentorship Programs are trauma-informed, peer-support initiatives that nurture emotional wellness, healthy relationships, and self-empowerment among youth and families. Designed to meet the needs of individuals who have experienced challenges, adversity, and trauma, these programs create safe spaces where healing, connection, and growth can take place.
Serving more than 50 participants annually, Healing Circles offer structured group sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and access to supportive community resources. Each session integrates reflective conversations, creative expression, and wellness activities that help youth build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and improve decision-making.

5: Legacy of Greatness Youth Talent Showcase
The Legacy of Greatness program is a culturally enriching community experience that celebrates Black history, creativity, leadership, and excellence. Through live performances, powerful storytelling, and youth-led presentations, this event uplifts the voices, talents, and heritage of African American youth while fostering cultural pride and community connection.
In its inaugural year, Legacy of Greatness welcomed over 125 participants — and continues to grow, with projections of more than 200 attendees for the next showcase. The program brings together families, educators, mentors, and community partners for a day filled with artistic expression, wellness activities, and educational engagement that honors the strength and brilliance of Black culture.
